Who we are
Callback AI is run by Shakil as a sole trader. Contact: contact the founder directly.
Our role
When a recruiter uses Callback AI to screen candidates, the recruiter decides what is collected and why. They are the data controller, and we process candidate data on their behalf as a data processor.
What we collect from candidates
The application email and CV sent to a role’s apply address, the voice recording of the screening, its transcript, and the report written from it. We don’t grade voice, accent, or tone.
What we collect from recruiters
Name, work email, role details, and the questions you set.
Where it’s stored
On servers in London, UK. Recordings are kept in encrypted cloud storage.
Who processes it for us
- Deepgram: speech-to-text and text-to-speech
- Groq and/or Google: the live conversation model
- Anthropic: writing and checking reports
- Resend: sending emails
- Cloudflare: storage and network connections
- Sentry: error monitoring
- Vercel: hosting this website
Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers rely on the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK IDTA.
How long we keep it
Candidate data is kept until the recruiter deletes the role or asks us to delete it, and 12 months at most. Demo screenings are deleted after 7 days.
Automated decisions
Callback AI never rejects or advances anyone on its own. It suggests a next step, and a person makes every decision.
Your rights
Candidates can ask for access to their data, a correction, or deletion. Contact the recruiter who invited you, or contact the founder directly and we’ll pass the request on.
Data processing agreement
Recruiters who need a DPA can request one at contact the founder directly.
