AI voice screening for recruiters
You got 200 applications.
Here are the ten worth a call.
Add one line to your job post. Every applicant gets a short voice screening, and you get a shortlist where each name comes with a report and the quotes behind it.
Early access: I set up your first role with you, free.
Hear it before you trust it
Take the screening yourself as a candidate for a made-up Customer Success role. Four questions, about three minutes, right in your browser. A minute later you’ll see the report a recruiter would get, with every line quoted from what you said.
Try it as a candidateFictional role. Your recording is deleted after 7 days.
Your evening disappears into a folder of CVs that mostly say the same thing.
Booking twenty first calls means twenty rounds of phone tag before anyone speaks.
The person you’d hire is in there somewhere, under the applications that read better.
The maths
One role used to eat the whole week
Reading, chasing, rescheduling, writing it all up. Put your own numbers in and see what’s left of it.
Assumes about 1.5 minutes to skim each application, a first call for the top 8%, and 25 minutes per call plus 6 minutes to arrange it and 5 to write it up. With Callback AI: 6 minutes per report for a shortlist of 10, plus 5 minutes of setup.
How it works
Five steps, and only the last one is yours.
- 01Add your apply addressOne line at the end of the job post you already wrote.
- 02Applications arriveEvery CV lands in the role, not in your inbox.
- 03Everyone gets a linkA short voice screening they can take any time. Nudges included.
- 04Shortlist with reportsEach name comes with quotes and a suggested next step.
- 05You decideAdvance or hold. Nothing leaves without your press.
Sift
Your apply address does the rest
Create the role, paste your apply address into the job post, and get back to work. Every application that arrives gets a voice screening invite, and anyone who hasn’t finished gets a nudge.
Nobody is rejected automatically. You get a shortlist with a suggested next step and the reasons for it, and you make the call.

Who’s building this

I’m Shakil. I’ve spent about ten years at early-stage startups, taking products from zero to one, several of them at YC-backed companies.
I started Callback AI after seeing how draining it is for a small team to post a new role and then face a flood of CVs, plus a round of first calls, before anyone actually gets hired. The screening I built puts every applicant through the same questions and shows you exactly what they said.
It’s just me for now, so when you email, you get me, not a sales team. I reply within a few hours on UK working days.
I’m based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. Your candidates’ data is hosted in London.
Questions people ask
Yes, before anything starts. The page says it in plain words and they tick a consent box for the recording. Nobody is screened without knowing.
